Table approx. 1 3/4 by 2 1/2 inches and chairs are approx. 2 3/4 inches tall by1 inch across.
Wonderful set...More of a Renaissance Revival style than the usual Louis XVI.
The table has a lovely pastoral scene ...4 legged table with center stretcher with an urn....quite unusual.
The chairs are great...each seat with a different scene and the backs are of a cherub.
Sets are pastel Pastoral scenes...one with a sheep..much better than the usual Enamel Miniature.
And the backs are in a Renaissance Revival Style...Rare Chartreuse background enameling with the winged head of the cherub.
But these are no ordinary backs ...they were created by an Enameler with a real sense of humor....one back has the cherub with a black eye and the other has the Cherub with a ribbon moustache...Quite clever and rare...I have never seen pieces like this ever!
Beautifully made and no chips or cracks.
Some oxidation to the back of the ormolu.

With the center front drawer that pulls out ..I have seen this referred to as a stamp box. It would set upon a fine French desk and a lady would go to this gem to remove a stamp.
What sets this apart from other Austrian enamel minature tables is the superb and rare painting of the top.
Looks to be almost Biblical..where a couple is met by a winged angel holding 2 sticks in his hand. Above a winged cherub with an arrow in hand and floating in a cloud.
Colors are quite wonderful with the lavender and magenta.
Nicely cast ormolu table with 2 coulumn finial legs.
Drawer pulls out with ring.
Lovely condition with no chips or cracks. A small area of darkening patina by the side of the drawer

Very rare reticulated top as with the process...this is quite difficult to achieve.
The front has a beautifully posed woman in ermine lines cape...Royal bleu foiled with fleur de lis...Gown is a gold foiled skirt with a red and gold foiled top. A gold scepter in her hand. Ruin backgrounds are quite interesting with a rope and tassel designed around the cut out.
Back is a landscape with sea and ship in the distance.
Superb condition and wonderful depiction.
Light coral interior has 2 hairlines which do not come thru to the surface.
Much better than average enamel

I so adore these. I have been told the true purpose of these was as a Master salt where they would be rolled down an elegant table.....I am not certain though think they are just a wonderful little item on their own without a specific purpose.
Very rare light green base color...first enamel I have ever seen in this pastel. Sides and back are painted with floral garlands and sprays tied with bows.
Front is a wonderful Pastoral setting, after Boucher. Lid with ormolu cast crown handle, has a painting of 4 figures in each corner. Beautifully painted and very unusual. Musician, Shepherd with flock and dog and women in repose and reading. Reminds me of an elegantly painted ceiling in a wonderful Villa.
Scrolled wheels and mounts in gold gilt ormolu.
Condition is quite good with no chips or cracks to the enamel and the paint color is strong .
1 year ago these would sell for between $1200 and $1500. but I purchased this piece with a collection and will pass along the remarkable savings.

Superb and looks as if it was never used.
Front and back cover are both beautifully painted scenes. The front depicts a hooded cloaked woman with a suitor standing over her in a Garden Setting. Landscaping of blue sky, trees and climbing vines makes for a perfect Dangerous Liasons. The back cover is a landscape with a cottage at a gentle river with a castle in the background.
Latch mounts are of sterling silver. Interior is complete and all original. With original tag from Tahan a Paris, a very fine establishment selling furnuture and Object.
Interior is ecru water stained silk with pocket lining. A printed calendar with the days of the week and a litho Souvenir page in French exclaiming this piece was expensive....even in the mid 1800's. Original gold gilt pencil and sheels for writing.
Breathtakingly beautiful and condition is amazing.

13 painted enamel plaques of classical looking figures , putti with gods and goddesses and painted landscapes . Interior doors open to reveal two pull out drawers to store your most treasured objects.
In fabulous condition, all plaques in good condition with no chips or cracks, all the ormolu is present.

| Rare Viennese Enamel miniature formed as a Gondola with Venezia painted on both sides. Older piece that is beautifully painted on every square inch. Cast ormolu Gondoliers with oars and sets upon 4 wheels. Could have been a salt and made for the Venice Grand Tour Trade.
The paintings are rare as they are of Venice with the canals in the background and the boats. The lion of St. Mark is painted in front of the Gondolier. The figures are depicted in period dress as the Medicis or Borgheses.
I collect and sell many piece of Viennese enamel and this is one of the most unique. In lovely condition with just a bit of natural wear to the bottom.

The front shows a couple dancing white a man is seated on the ground playing a recorder. The bottom is decorated in a classical theme with a goddess holding 2 pyres, an urn with flowers and flourishes. The side of the box has 2 cherub heads. Interior is white enamel.
At the side of the Recorder player is a small white area. I do not feel a chip perhaps an area missing in the paint.

They are subtle but quite intricate when you closely view the wonderful design
Overall in wonderful condition with one candle pan having a slight bend and small enamel chip to the base of one. Quite stunning.

Gilt metal chasis and carriage in enamel with ormolu mounts Robins egg blue base color with paintings of floral garlands. an 18th C looking after Boucher couple in a pastoral setting. Cover is beautifully painted with 4 cherubs in clouds with garlands. One of my favorite pieces of this genre. Overall in good condition for age. The front fasteners from the carriage to the chasis are replacements and fit is not snug. The enamelling is chipped where they were fastened. A bit of paint wear and a few other small chips. Top does lift off. Quite sweet |
